London, January 11th 2024, Inspired, the leading global group of premium schools which delivers an outstanding holistic education to students around the world, has signed an agreement to acquire Colegio Ramón y Cajal (CRC), Spain. CRC, founded in 1961 is a leading K-12 local and IB school, known for its innovative academic offerings and practices, and outstanding facilities. The school also prides itself on its extensive staff development and training programmes. The school is located in Madrid and consists of two recently renovated campuses, one specialising in Early Years.

Inspired is acquiring the Colegio Ramon Y Cajal brand and schools in Arturo Soria and will develop a new IB Centre that will open in a newly acquired site in September 2024. The Ramon Y Cajal Sur site in Villaverde is not part of this agreement and will operate under a different brand name from September 2024 onwards. The acquisition supports Inspired’s strategic ambitions to continue building the world’s leading group of premium schools.
