Inspired, the leading global group of premium schools educating over 85,000+ students across 110+ schools in 6 continents, has announced the planned opening of Reddam House North Shore for the 2025 Academic Year. With a dedication to excellence permeating every aspect of the Group’s practices, Inspired’s students graduate with outstanding academic results, a love of learning, and a firm value system that encourages resilience. Inspired utilises the best educational practices from every corner of the globe to nurture and create well-rounded individuals from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Inspired already operates the number 1 Independent School in New South Wales based on HSC results from 2023 and 2022, Reddam House Sydney, as well as three exceptional Early Learning Schools – St Leonards, Lindfield and Woollahra. Reddam House is well-known in Sydney for its academic excellence, as well as sport, drama, dance, music and arts program, delivered in an exceptional, secular, co-educational and nurturing environment.
Reddam House North Shore will be the sister school to the high performing Reddam House Sydney. The new 8-storey state-of-the-art school will be located in the iconic Harry Seidler designed, historic Simsmetal House and accommodate up to 1,350 students. Australian-owned construction and development group Built is responsible for managing the upgrade and transformation of the building into a K-12 campus. This new school will protect the site’s heritage while embracing its history and giving it a new purpose.
This announcement signals a substantial investment by Inspired in Australia which is committing upwards of $55m to build the new school. This comes following CapEx of more than $20m across Reddam House Sydney and its three Early Learning Schools over the last few years.
The new school will provide the best possible education for students. From the 2025 academic year and in line with necessary statutory approvals, the school will be open to all years from Kindergarten up to Year 9 and once established will add one additional year group annually. The students will be provided with an exceptional education experience in a vast 9,000 square metres of floor space; the school will boast premium facilities purpose built for modern education including:
• Stunning roof terrace with views of Sydney Harbour
• Outdoor terraces with play areas
• Senior resource centre and study rooms
• Multiple libraries
