The school has a well-established programme of education offering a truly British multilingual education to students from the age of 3 to 18 years old. Kensington School prides itself on offering an excellent human and academic education, so that pupils leave the school as well-educated fine young men and women, fluent in English, Spanish and French with internationally-recognised qualifications and academic prowess. Supported in their path through the school by a personal, holistic approach to education, children learn how to live and work together on their way to becoming happy, well-rounded adults.

Set in the residential suburb of Pozuelo, to the north of Madrid city, the school campus spreads over six buildings equipped with a wide range of facilities: from recreational sports facilities through to an array of computer rooms, science laboratories, a well-stocked school library, dining rooms and psychomotricity and music classrooms, among many other provisions all to complement the learning community.

The native learning of English and multilingual education to the highest level, along with human and academic excellence, are the basic pillars of the school. In the finest British tradition, pupils start at Kensington School at the age of 3 and learn English by immersion from the beginning, following the English National Curriculum, reinforced by some subjects in Spanish and beginning French in Year 7. Later on, from Year 10 (3º ESO) and up to Year 13 (2º de Bachillerato), they study the official Spanish curriculum, reinforced by intensive preparation in English and French for official external examinations.

Kensington’s philosophy and values are perfectly aligned to Inspired’s forward-thinking educational ethos, constantly encouraging children to be truly resilient, independent learners. The school offers a holistic and creative curriculum in which all subjects, from Sports and Arts, through to Music and Computing, are considered key for a complete education. Pupils learn to love and respect each other, to work towards deadlines and objectives, and to enjoy their learning while developing resilience in the face of challenges.

Nadim M Nsouli, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Inspired, commented, “We are excited to welcome Kensington School into the Inspired family. We are looking forward to working with the Kensington senior leadership team and staff to continue to serve the communities of current, past and future students and parents. We believe that Inspired’s vision and values fully complement those that have underpinned the growth and development of Kensington”

The founding family of the school, stated: “After 52 years of Kensington School’s foundation (1968), and fulfilling our ambition of academic excellence, we are now pleased to join the International Educational Group INSPIRED, which will allow Kensington School to provide a broad network of support to continue to improve the quality assurance that we have always aimed to provide for our students.”
